About Me

My spiritual journey has been a rich tapestry woven through various experiences and beliefs. I was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church, where I attended with my grandmother. My early spiritual upbringing continued with my parents in a Pentecostal church, where I felt a profound sense of community and connection.

As a teenager, I found myself drawn to the mystical aspects of Wicca, exploring the depths of spirituality beyond traditional boundaries. This curiosity evolved into a calling to Christian ministry when I became pregnant with my first son. With my husband, I began attending a non-denominational church that nurtured my desire to learn more about the Holy Scriptures and strengthened my faith and connection to God.

After moving to Rochester to pursue my studies in dental hygiene at Monroe Community College, I found a new church home where I engaged in transformative prayer groups and prayer lock-ins. These experiences were incredible; often, God would give me a word of knowledge about one of the members in attendance, making His presence known in powerful ways. The Holy Spirit filled the room, creating an atmosphere of deep connection and spiritual insight.

It was during this time that I met a neighbor studying at the Rochester Institute of Christian Education, who ignited my passion for preaching. This connection led me to discover Northeastern Seminary, where I enrolled in the Christian Theology certification program that truly transformed my life.

Throughout my journey, I preached at local churches alongside my neighbor, honing my preaching gift and sharing my faith. I later became an associate pastor, leading prayer groups, women’s gatherings, engaging in community outreach, and delivering Sunday sermons, all of which deepened my commitment to service and ministry. Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of ministry, I completed my B.S. in Health Administration to enroll in the Master of Divinity program, graduating in 2020 with a competency in advanced biblical studies.

However, after learning the natural healing arts of energy healing, my concept of God expanded exponentially. I am no longer an associate pastor; I have been called to the practice of holistic wellness, bringing healing through this natural modality by primarily connecting with the Divine Feminine. This was something I had been lacking my entire life and was not aware it was acceptable for me to pursue. I had not even realized that there was a feminine aspect to God or religion; it always seemed male-dominated and oriented, leaving women feeling marginalized.

My mission now is to nurture the Divine Feminine, emphasizing that it is okay to embrace this aspect of spirituality without fear of judgment or criticism, even from those in the Christian faith who may label it heretical. I am feeling called to speak on the historical Judeo-Christian faith and the influences of the predominant cultures in the Ancient Near East that helped shape it, as well as, the shared wisdom and creation myths that predate the Torah and Dead Sea Scrolls. The Dead Sea Scrolls are a conglomerate of ancient literature fragments that were compiled to form portions of the Hebrew Bible and extrabiblical books) found in the Qumran community.

Many of us carry a sense of what is right and wrong based on societal conditioning and external beliefs that have been imposed on us. I wholeheartedly embrace the Divine Feminine, and for me, Isis embodies that energy. This is one reason I feel particularly drawn to Seichim.

Today, I integrate my spiritual and healing experiences into my practice at Tranquil Heart, where I support others on their journeys toward holistic well-being. My commitment is to provide a safe, nurturing space for healing and transformation, helping clients tap into their inner wisdom and radiate their authentic essence.

Seeking to Include Reiki into Your Holistic Wellness Practice?

I am currently seeking opportunities to collaborate with others in the field of holistic wellness who may be interested in taking an integrative approach to their clients' total well-being. More than one healing modality is often needed to assist a client towards wholeness; it often takes a community. If interested in learning ways in which we might work together to meet your own needs, as well as the needs of your clients; or if interested in having an introductory presentation on the topic of energy wellness for your team, clients, or yourself, let's connect! Let us engage our creative imaginations to discover new ways for a healthier and happier future for us all.

My Approach

As a Reiki practitioner, I utilize a gentle hands-on (or hands-off) energy technique, serving as a conduit for universal life force energy. This process reduces stress and promotes deep relaxation, creating an optimal environment for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing to occur.

Depending on the mutually agreed-upon treatment plan, a Reiki healing session may include various supportive modalities such as crystals, sound therapy (including tuning forks and singing bowls), essential oils, positive affirmations, prayer, meditation, and mindfulness practices. After each session, I provide feedback and recommend at-home self-love practices to empower clients in their own self-healing journey.
